Nueva Gerona and Habana played a hard-fought contest.
Nueva Gerona registered a win at Parque de los Leones by beating the Habana Leones, 3-1. Pitcher Benicio Pantoja was one reason why the Marmoleros triumphed. Pantoja got the win, improving to 12-9. He gave up 8 hits and walked 0 over 9 innings. He allowed 1 run.
