Libertadores Hang 5-1 Loss on Colibris
|
Guanajuato pitcher Adán Acosta did his part in helping his team defeat the Nuevo Laredo Colibris, 5-1. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. With the win, Guanajuato has a record of 15-13. Nuevo Laredo falls to 12-16.
Arasibo García was a prime contributor to the Guanajuato win. He was 1-3, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth with one out, the two-time All-Star hit a 2-run single. It made the score 4-1, in favor of the Libertadores.
"Enjoyed this one," García told the Guanajuato Today. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
