Mexicali Gets 6-3 Win Against Chacales
Mexicali Algodoneros starter Enrique Galan pitched well against the Sonora Chacales at Estadio de Mexicali, leading his team to a win, 6-3. Héctor Vargas earned the save for Mexicali, his 3rd. The win for the Algodoneros raised their record to 27-19.

An inflection point occurred with one out in the bottom of the sixth. That's when Algodoneros catcher Fabien Dubois hit a fastball from Fraser Mackie for a 2-run single. Just like that, Mexicali was up, 3-2.

"It never gets old," said Dubois. "Winning, that is."
