Jardines de Pachuca was the site for Sur action featuring the Ciudad Mexico Volcanes and Hidalgo Cornicos.

The Ciudad Mexico Volcanes were defeated, 4-3, by the Hidalgo Cornicos at Jardines de Pachuca, even though Laertes Benavides pitched well for Ciudad Mexico. The Cornicos now own a record of 55-67.

In the bottom of the eighth, with the game tied, Ciudad Mexico allowed the Cornicos to go up, 4-3, on a Ciudad Mexico error.
