Cruz Excels, But Volcanes Win
The Campeche Corsarios got a superb performance from right fielder Bonifacio Cruz, but the Ciudad Mexico Volcanes still won the game, 8-6. Cruz was 4-4 with a triple, a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. René Gálvez recorded the save for Ciudad Mexico, his 3rd of the season. The victory gives Ciudad Mexico a record of 35-32.
