Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved Galanes beat the Colibris.

The Culiacan Galanes downed the Nuevo Laredo Colibris, 7-5. The hitting star was second baseman Martín Flores. Flores went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 2 walks. He scored 3 times for the Galanes. Emilio Ibarra was the winning pitcher. Over 8 innings, he allowed 5 runs on 8 hits, with 2 walks and 2 strikeouts.

Culiacan went up, 7-5, on Getulio Pérez's 5th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Pérez hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Nuevo Laredo pitcher Jairo Hernández muttering to himself.
