Alacranes Get Past Jalisco for 7-6 Win
The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of Durango fans at Campo de Guadalajara.

Alacranes second baseman Eduardo Arellano put his stamp on his team's 7-6 win over the Jalisco Jinetes. Arellano went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk. He scored 2 runs for Durango in the contest. At 52-64, the Alacranes find themselves in 11th place in the Norte.

The game was all tied up in the bottom of the eighth, until Arellano delivered big-time for Durango, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Illán Romero. The game-changing hit put the Alacranes on top, 7-6.

"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," Arellano told the Durango Today.
