Carboneros Winners, 3-2, Over Mariachis

The Coahuila Carboneros and Nayarit Mariachis played an entertaining game for Parque de los Mariachis patrons.
Coahuila pitcher Amílcar Bravo had a large part in his team beating the Nayarit Mariachis, 3-2. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Jesús Arche earned save number 8 this season.
Luis Montantes, who finished 3rd in the LN in home runs with 4 in 1906, had a direct impact on the outcome. Montantes contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth inning to put Coahuila up, 3-2.
"Amílcar was doing a good job pouring in strikes," said Coahuila manager Esteban Bellán.
Coahuila is now 62-38. Nayarit is 45-55.
