The Campeche Corsarios converted a terrific effort from starter Hernán Navarrete into a win over the Hidalgo Cornicos at Jardines de Pachuca. The Corsarios won the game by a final score of 6-2. At 53-48, the Corsarios find themselves in 5th place in the Sur.

Rafael Romo was a prime contributor to the Campeche win. He went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the sixth with one out, the 25-year old second baseman hit a 2-run single. It made the score 3-0, in favor of the Corsarios.

"Hernán pitched like a son-of-a-gun," said Campeche manager Juan Vences.
