Nortenos in Free Fall, Lose 12th Straight
The Durango Alacranes stopped the Ciudad Juarez Nortenos, 5-4, in 10 innings at Estadio Municipal de Juárez. The Alacranes got a big game from Catamantaloedes Reyna, who was 3-5 with 3 singles. He scored 2 runs. The win makes Durango 56-47.

The game was at a stalemate until center fielder Matthew Smith came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing Ciudad Juarez pitcher Cristóbal Quintana, he hit a first pitch cutter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Durango on top, 5-4.

"This losing streak feels like riding on a runaway train," said Ciudad Juarez manager Eduardo Moreno.
