Trovadores Walk Off with 7-6 Win
The Merida Trovadores cut down the Chiapas Quetzales by the score of 7-6 in 16 innings. Much of the credit went to third baseman León Lucero. Lucero went 2-3 with 2 triples and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Trovadores. Jorge Castro, now 11-12, was credited with the win in 0.1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 0 and walking 0. At 42-61, the Trovadores find themselves in last place in the Sur.

Blas Díaz delivered a run-scoring single in the bottom of the 16th to win it for the Trovadores. For the game, Díaz was 1-2 with a walk.

"Our guys just had that look of determination," said winning manager Onesíforo Maldonado.
