Carboneros Lose Contest, 3-1

The game between Ciudad Juarez and Coahuila is in the books, despite a little rain.
The Ciudad Juarez Nortenos took Coahuila pitcher Ben Downie's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Estadio de Saltillo. The final score had Ciudad Juarez getting past the Carboneros, 3-1. Downie went 8.1 innings and allowed 3 runs, striking out 1. Ciudad Juarez goes to 48-57, Coahuila to 60-45.
The Nortenos got a gift in the top of the seventh inning. With the game tied, 0-0, Juan Morales reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run. It made the score 1-0, Ciudad Juarez.
"When there are games to be won, you win them," said Ciudad Juarez manager Gabriel Dávila.
