Libertadores Topple Carboneros, 4-3

The Libertadores grabbed a win, 4-3, at Parque de la Libertad, overcoming a fine effort from Coahuila pitcher Jesús Arche. Arche went 8 innings and allowed 4 runs. Guanajuato reliever Príamo Flores picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Jesús Arche absorbed the loss. The win elevated the Libertadores to 55-51.
The Libertadores got a big hit from pinch hitter Martín Flores. In the bottom of the sixth, Flores smacked a 2-run double off Coahuila pitcher Jesús Arche. It was his 3rd double of the season. Suddenly, the Libertadores were ahead, 4-3.
"When you win, you always have confidence," said Guanajuato skipper Álvaro Trejo. "Nobody likes to lose. Losing is a downer. That's how we look at it. It's always good to win."
