The Durango Alacranes earned a win at Estadio de Durango, stopping the Sonora Chacales, 7-1. Starting pitcher Pascual Gallegos played a big role in his team's success. Durango occupies 11th place in the Norte at 47-61.

Making an impact for the home team was Ernesto Chávez. In the bottom of the seventh, the 21-year old shortstop had a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. That made the score 2-0, Alacranes.
