Getulio Pérez was a vital contributor to the 11-5 Culiacan victory over Nayarit. The Galanes third baseman went 3-3 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The victory gives Culiacan a record of 56-55.

A key moment came with two out in the bottom of the second. That's when Pérez hit a fastball from Ángel Cavazos for a 2-run single, putting Culiacan up, 6-0.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Culiacan manager Daniel Camacho.
