Parque de Acapulco was the site of a competitive game between the Chetumal Mayas and Acapulco Aztecas.
Acapulco parlayed a decent outing from starter Morrigan Moore into a solid win over the Chetumal Mayas. The final score was 5-3. Acapulco is now 53-68, while Chetumal is 54-67.
Acapulco right fielder Rafael Valencia helped the Aztecas go up, 1-0, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Valencia hit a run-scoring single off Chetumal pitcher Matías Martínez.
"At the end of the day, wins and losses are really the only thing that matters," said Valencia.
