The Nayarit Mariachis picked up a win at Parque de los Mariachis, taking down the Nuevo Laredo Colibris, 4-2. Starting pitcher Leucipo Hernández was a big reason why. Julián Rentería earned his 24th save, after closing out the game. The Mariachis win now puts them at 66-59.

Hernández had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth to put Nayarit in front, 2-0. With the bases loaded, he hit a sacrifice fly off Nuevo Laredo pitcher Agamenón Musco.

"Main thing is I want the team to win," Hernández told a reporter after the game. "Just have to go out there, take care of my job, and give my team a chance to win."
