Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Campeche Corsarios and Hidalgo Cornicos.

Mórsimo Becerril, who is on pace to win 20 games this season, propelled his team to victory over the Hidalgo Cornicos. The final score was 4-2, Campeche. Becerril yielded 2 runs over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 1, and struck out 2. His record improves to 20-8. Manuel Nevárez earned save number 10 this season.

Campeche used the timely hitting of Gabek Bina to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Corsarios on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I just tried to focus on getting that first guy out every inning," said Becerril.
