Hollyhocks Trip Werewolves, 6-4, in Extra Innings
The Santa Fe Hollyhocks faced a tough opponent in Los Lunas pitcher Owen Coates, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Werewolves Park by a final score of 6-4. Coates went 10 innings and allowed 6 runs. Santa Fe reliever Hugo Medrano snagged the win, upping his record to 2-0. Owen Coates shouldered the loss. The win gives Santa Fe a record of 9-8.

Santa Fe used the timely hitting of Enrique Andrade to seize the win. The catcher stroked a 2-run single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Hollyhocks on top, 6-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll enjoy this win for now, but it's just one," Andrade told local reporters. "We've got to keep it going."
