The Marfa Ghost Lights defeated the El Paso Finos, 10-2, in part because of third baseman Olívio Soromenho. Soromenho went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Ghost Lights. Esteban Baubia, credited with the win, is now 2-0. He allowed 2 runs on 10 hits in 9 innings. Marfa is now 13-5.

With Marfa leading 2-0 in the bottom of the second, Soromenho hit a slider from Rio Jenkins for a 3-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Ghost Lights ahead, 5-0.
