The Perth Caber Tossers defeated the Aberdeen Granite, 10-8, in Baseball Federation of Scotland & Ireland action at Perth Fields. Clément Lamy pulled his weight. The 4-year veteran belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Aidan Grant snagged the win in relief. He goes to 4-0 on the season. Rudolf Martin suffered the loss. With the win, Perth elevates its record to 17-7.

The clutch at-bat in the bottom of the ninth belonged to Lamy. Facing Rudolf Martin with a runner on 1st, the Perth first baseman had a 2-run home run. Game over, walk-off style!

"Guys always talk about winning games because of the 'little things,'" Lamy told the Perth Daily. "Call me old fashioned, but I think baseball is about the big things -- like scoring more runs."
