Yardmen Go 10 Innings to Beat Amarillo, 3-2
The Wichita Falls Yardmen wiggled past the Amarillo Horizons, 3-2, in 10 innings at Horizons Park. The win was highlighted by the performance of Wichita Falls pitcher Farquhar Morris. In 10 innings, Morris surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs. The loss makes Amarillo 24-21.

Wichita Falls used the timely hitting of Pedro Arce to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Yardmen on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"Farquhar made some big pitches when he needed to," said Yardmen manager Lázaro Grado.
