The first-place Glasgow Shipwrights were less than gracious hosts to the Aberdeen Granite.

Ramón Piña was locked and loaded, helping the Glasgow Shipwrights beat the Aberdeen Granite, 8-1. Piña picked up the win for Glasgow, going 8 innings. He gave up 1 run on 8 hits. He now sports a record of 5-4.

The Shipwrights got a lift from catcher Gabriel Elizondo, who in the bottom of the first hit a bases-clearing double. His 5th double of the season put the Shipwrights on top, 4-0.

"Things didn't bounce our way," said Aberdeen skipper Ed Caskin.
