The Derry Maidens defeated the Dublin Vikings, 4-0, in Baseball Federation of Scotland & Ireland action at Maidens Grounds. Derry pitcher Osheen Tully had a standout performance. Guillermo Sánchez earned the save for Derry. The 13-29 Vikings have lost 10 consecutive games.

The Maidens picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"Things will change for us," said Dublin manager Leo Amos. "When things change, we'll get clicking."
