Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Inverness Thistles take on the Dundee Websters.

The Inverness Thistles got production from their entire lineup in an easy 13-1 win over the Dundee Websters. Doing his part was shortstop Talley Martin. Martin belted 2 home runs. He scored 4 runs and drove in 5. Marcial Borjas, the winner, is now 5-4. He struck out 5 and walked 1 over 7 innings, while allowing 1 run on 5 hits.

With Inverness leading 7-0 in the bottom of the sixth, Martin batted against Dundee pitcher Beloveso Loera. Martin hit a fastball to left for a 3-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Thistles on top, 10-0.

"We didn't put up much resistance," said losing manager Alfonso Martínez.

Inverness is now 36-37.
