Highwaymen Lose to Prescott, 6-3
The Prescott Lynx defeated the Tucson Highwaymen, 6-3, in Western Association action at Highwaymen Park. Prescott pitcher Imrich Tosenovsky had a standout performance. The winner was Tosenovsky. He threw 5.0 innings allowing 1 run. The loser was Peter Brooker. Ángel Martínez notched his 5th save in 5 chances.

Prescott used a big swing from Jesús Justiniano to get the win. The first baseman walloped a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Lynx up, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it changed the outcome.

"At the end of the day, wins and losses are really the only thing that matters," said Tosenovsky.

The second-place Lynx now have a win-loss record of 43-36.
