Yardmen Rally For 3-2 Win
The Wichita Falls Yardmen topped the Amarillo Horizons, 3-2, in Western Association action at Yardmen Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Wichita Falls pitcher Juan Rivera. With the win, Wichita Falls goes to 40-49, while the Horizons fall to 45-44.

The decisive blow was delivered in the bottom of the ninth when Anthony Ross hit a run-scoring double off 22-year old right-handed pitcher Bogdan de Jong to win the game for Wichita Falls. The home crowd went wild.

"Every time I step on the mound, I want to go out there and compete and bring my best game," said Rivera.
