A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Derry Maidens and Cork Salmon.

The 10-6 Derry win over Cork was due in large part to Rannal Lewis. The Maidens designated hitter went 2-3 with 2 doubles and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The setback makes Cork 37-42.
