Claymores Rally Late to Clip Inverness
Edinburgh beat Inverness at Claymores Stadium, escaping with a 7-6 win in 11 innings. The win in large part was due to center fielder Elton Rand. He was 4 for 4 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Heliodoro Hernández picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Kian Russell was tagged with the loss. Edinburgh's record now stands at 38-60, placing them last in the Baseball Federation of Scotland & Ireland Lig Ball-steidhe na h-Alba.

The Claymores got a clutch hit from third baseman Plutarco Sánchez. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Claymores.

"I know we have our doubters," said Inverness manager Ryan Daniels. "But I still have high hopes for this team."
