The Glasgow Shipwrights needed 15 innings to beat the Aberdeen Granite, 7-6, at Ballpark of Aberdeen. José González, for one, had a fine performance. He was 5-7 with a home run, a double, 3 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Hefesto Gallego picked up the win in relief for Glasgow, while Vidal Ibarra took the loss. The first-place Shipwrights now have a win-loss record of 46-38.

González had a game-changing home run in the top of the 15th. On a 2-1 fastball from Vidal Ibarra, he banged a solo home run to left, giving the Shipwrights a 7-6 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for González.
