Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Highwaymen
The Tucson Highwaymen defeated the Tempe Olympians, 5-2, at Highwaymen Park. Leading the charge for Tucson was designated hitter Dineen Miller. He went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Alfredo Flores snagged the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits over 2.2 innings. He's now 4-4 on the season. Tyler Harris closed the door for Tucson, picking up his 1st save of the year.

Miller had a timely hit for Tucson in the bottom of the eighth. With Tucson trailing 2-1, he turned a first pitch fastball into a 2-run double. It was his 4th double of the season, making it 3-2, Tucson.

Miller told a Tucson Bulletin reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.

The Highwaymen improved their record to 41-63 by beating Tempe.
