Claymores Suffer 7-4 Loss to Shipwrights
At Shipwrights Stadium, the Edinburgh Claymores and Glasgow Shipwrights were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Crispín Pérez, who leads the BFS&I in hits with 136, knocked in 4 runs to help the Glasgow Shipwrights win, 7-4, over the Edinburgh Claymores. The Shipwrights, at 51-40, sit in first place in the Baseball Federation of Scotland & Ireland Lig Ball-steidhe na h-Alba.

Pérez had a key at-bat for Glasgow in the bottom of the first. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 15th home run of the season and gave Glasgow an early 3-0 lead.

"We're trying to go out there and win games," Pérez told the Glasgow Daily News, "and we played pretty well tonight."
