Ballpark of Cardiff was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Cardiff Arcadians and Aberystwyth Dragons.

The performance of Menandro Morales proved critical in helping Cardiff beat Aberystwyth, 7-6. The Arcadians right fielder was 3 for 5 with 2 doubles. He scored 3 times. Cardiff pitcher Jesús Lagunas got the win. He's now 2-1. Jay Wilson was tagged with the loss.

Enrique Prado's at-bat in the bottom of the sixth inning was a big one for Cardiff. Coming to bat with one out, runners on 1st and 3rd and Cardiff trailing 6-5, the center fielder hit a sacrifice fly.

"Scoring runs is scoring runs," said Cardiff skipper Mateo Rodas. "It's important to have different ways to do it."
