Cork and Galway duked it out and the Salmon came out victorious.

Norberto Hernández pitched well, but his team, the Galway Harbourmasters, still dropped a 4-2 decision to the Cork Salmon at Harbourmasters Field. The Salmon improved to 44-51.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Juan Quiñones? The Cork catcher had a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put the Salmon on top, 3-2. For the game, Quiñones had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We did a lot of really good things and it was a good win," said Salmon manager Tricky Nichols.
