Teagan Bent had a good game, but he could not keep the Glasgow Shipwrights from falling, 7-6, to the Aberdeen Granite at Shipwrights Stadium. The Glasgow catcher went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once in the loss. The Granite now own a record of 47-51.

Las Piedras, Puerto Rico-born Emilio Magdaleno came through in the clutch. In the top of the ninth, with the bases loaded and the Granite trailing 6-5, he hit a 2-run single to left to put Aberdeen on top.

"We put it together and came out with the win," Magdaleno said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
