Wet weather did not postpone the Aberdeen-Glasgow ballgame.

The Aberdeen Granite topped the Glasgow Shipwrights, 4-3, in Baseball Federation of Scotland & Ireland action at Shipwrights Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Aberdeen pitcher and Ponce, Puerto Rico, native Lorenzo Maldonado. The Aberdeen win streak is now 3 games.

In the top of the seventh, Aberdeen third baseman Silverio Pizaña hit a run-scoring single to right field. The clutch hit made it 4-3, Granite.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Pizaña.
