Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Harbourmasters
Galway took on Dublin in front of a lively crowd.

Vladik Ofitserov, who is tied for 7th in the BFS&I in complete games with 19, was locked in. The left-hander led the Galway Harbourmasters to a 3-1 win against the Dublin Vikings at Dublin Grounds. Faustino Cruz came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. His record now stands at 3-1.

In the top of the ninth, Galway got a clutch hit from Daniel Gil. The pinch hitter belted a solo home run, putting the Harbourmasters up, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a decisive one.

Gil attributed the triumph to "a good team effort."

Galway is in first place in the Baseball Federation of Scotland & Ireland Sraith Daorchluiche na hEireann with a record of 68-33.
