Anaya Superb Against London
|
Balduino Anaya kept the London Fog hitters from doing much damage at Winchester Fields.
London could only muster 3 hits and draw no walks against the right-handed Anaya, who controlled them throughout the game. Winchester won the contest, 2-0. Anaya added 16 strikeouts in his complete-game effort.
"I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Anaya told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time."
This season, Anaya has a 15-11 record with a 2.83 ERA.
