The Cranston Madonnas and the Griswold Vampires will take the Division Series to a decisive 7th game. Facing a must-win situation, the Madonnas shut out the Vampires, 9-0, at Madonna's Niche to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Cranston right-hander Vicente Rivera did his part. He threw 7.1 innings of shutout ball.

Rivera, the Cranston right-hander, went 7.1 innings, allowing no runs on 3 hits. He collected 4 strikeouts.

"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Rivera told the Cranston News.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Madonna's Niche in Cranston.
