The Bangor Bishops racked up a win at Ballpark of Cardiff, bumping off the Cardiff Arcadians, 4-3. Zacarías Sosa, who started for Bangor, pitched effectively for his team. Bangor is now 71-44, 8½ games up in the Baseball Federation of England & Wales Undeb Pel-fas Cymru.

Bangor took a 4-3 lead on Hormisdas Reynoso's 32nd double of the season. The 2-run double, which Reynoso hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Cardiff pitcher Sloan Mahoney visibly frustrated.

"We're in a marathon, not a sprint," Reynoso said in postgame remarks. "Soon enough, the finish line will be in sight."
