With Late Score, Harbourmasters Beat Gandelows
|
Galway Harbourmasters starter Sueichi Nakasone turned in a top-notch performance against the Limerick Gandelows at Gandelows Park. The result was a win for the Harbourmasters, 2-1. Adam Ward earned the save for Galway, his 13th. Galway is now 45-76, while Limerick is 61-58.
Loran Scott came through with a big-time hit for Galway. The center fielder smacked a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 2-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
Nakasone said afterward that "winning is the goal."
