Corsarios Advance to Campeonato de las Ligas
The Campeche Corsarios are off to the Campeonato de las Ligas after an exciting Serie Eliminatoria triumph.

Campeche downed the Hidalgo Cornicos, but needed the entire series to do so, with a 4-3 win tonight at Parque de Campeche wrapping up the series 4-3.

"It's every guy in this room that made this happen. Without us all pulling in the same direction, we don't win this series," said Bonifacio Cruz, who earned MVP honors for a standout offensive series.

Cruz put up a .387 with a .406 on-base percentage in the series. He also had 0 home runs, drove in 5 runs and scored 3 runs himself.

The Campeonato de las Ligas matchups and schedule will be announced after the Serie Eliminatoria finishes.
