Winchester starter Balduino Anaya ran into little resistance from Derby hitters, as his team cruised to victory, 10-2. Today's win puts Winchester at 62-49, while Derby falls to 35-75.

Samuel Ruiz had a big 2-run double for the Barons in the top of the first inning. With Winchester leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from 36-year old right-handed pitcher Ross Smith and swatted a double to right. It was his 14th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Barons ahead, 3-0.

"Enjoyed this one," Anaya told the Winchester Observer. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
