The Coventry Motors picked up a win at Talons Grounds, dropping the Sheffield Talons, 7-2. Martín León, who is tied for 9th in the BFE&W with a 6.9 K/9 rate, was the difference-maker. The Motors sit in third place in the Baseball Federation of England & Wales English Baseball Championship with a record of 61-51.

Harvey Strange was a prime contributor to the Coventry win. He was 2 for 5 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the fifth with two out, the 32-year old center fielder hit a 2-run single. It made the score 4-2, in favor of the Motors.
