Alacranes Even With Comediantes After Home Win
The Mayabeque Alacranes and the San Antonio de los Banos Comediantes will take the Campeonato Interdivisional to a decisive 5th game. Facing a must-win situation, the Alacranes shut out the Comediantes, 7-0, at Parque de los Alacranes to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Mayabeque left-hander Jean Doucet did his part. He threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball.

In the bottom of the third, Mayabeque catcher Alberto Maestro had a productive at-bat. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and two out, Maestro stroked a 2-run single to left. It made the score 4-0, Mayabeque. For the game, he was 1-4. He drove in 2 runs.

"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Manuel Lugo.

Game 5 is scheduled for Sunday at Estadio de San Antonio in San Antonio de los Baños.
