In a tight contest at Motors Grounds, the Coventry Motors edged the London Fog by the score of 5-4 in 11 innings. Coventry third baseman Godofredo Villarreal, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Sergio García claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record stands at 4-2. The Motors raised their record to 62-52.

The Motors got a clutch hit from right fielder Julian Pipe. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Motors.
