San Antonio de los Banos Needs 12 Innings to Subdue Artemisa in Game 2
The San Antonio de los Banos Comediantes got a strong game from starter Álvaro Albizures, but it was some clutch hitting that ultimately delivered the win.

The Comediantes took the 5-4 win over the Artemisa Rojos in Game 2 of the Campeonato de las Ligas in a 12th inning walk-off. The win capped off a fine outing for the left-handed Albizures. Albizures threw 7.0 innings allowing 4 runs in the win, which gave the Comediantes a 2-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.

The clutch hit was provided by Natanael Montes. He delivered a walk-off run-scoring single off Basilio Martínez in the bottom of the 12th.

"They say the first rule of the playoffs is to win the home games," Albizures said afterward. "It feels nice, but it is kind of what we were supposed to do."

The next game is set to be played for Thursday, September 24th , 1914 at Campo de Artemisa in Artemisa.
