Drummond Brings A-Game, Rams Beat Tradesmen
|
It might have been a rain-shorted game, but the hometown crowd didn't seem to mind.
In a low-scoring contest between the Derby Rams and the Birmingham Tradesmen, Max Drummond was the X factor. The Derby right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. The Rams now have a record of 38-78.
Drummond gave Derby an exquisite performance. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 4 hits over 8 innings.
"There is no easy way to lose when you're doing everything you can to win games," said Birmingham manager Henry Myers.
