Hellfire Advance to Western & Plains Championship
In an exciting League Championship Series that had its fair share of drama and intrigue, perhaps it is Western & Plains League fans who have come out the winner.

But on the field, the winners were the Medicine Hat Hellfire, who edged the Calgary Chargers 4-3 to advance to the Western & Plains Championship.

Medicine Hat won the final game by a 4-0 count to wrap up the series. Thomas Harry earned series MVP honors, by hitting .407 with a .448 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 3 runs.

The Medicine Hat Hellfire don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Brandon Threshers - Moose Jaw Rum Runners series. Brandon leads the series 3 games to 2.
