The Aberystwyth Dragons met little resistance from the Swansea Copper Lords, beating them, 16-3, at Copper Lords Ballpark. Shaun Love led the way. He went 4 for 5 with 2 home runs and a triple. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5 for Aberystwyth. Aberystwyth pitcher Federico Celaya got the win, upping his record to 19-14. Orestes Méndez got the loss. The second-place Dragons improved to 64-53.

Aberystwyth used a well-timed hit by Nicolás González to capture the win. The shortstop socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the first inning to put the Dragons ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Aaron McMillan said.
